Cem (1459 – 1495) was a pretender to the Ottoman throne, a son of Sultan Mehmed II and a brother to Bayezid II. Secretly a member of the Templar Order, Cem stole his father's Apple of Eden after his failure to secure the position of sultan. Upon proving to be unsuccessful in using its powers, he hid it in the Templar Archiveon Cyprus.
Cem was placed under house arrest in Italy by his brother, where he became acquainted with Rodrigo Borgia, along with Andreasand Manuel Palaiologos. He was killed by the Assassins in 1495.
